Using NetGong

Top  Previous  Next

You can use NetGong to test availability and responsiveness of network devices. NetGong is a sophisticated network monitoring tool that allows network administrators, webmasters, and Internet service providers to monitor any networked device on the Internet, corporate intranet, or TCP/IP LAN and receive alerts immediately via audible alarm, message, e-mail, or third-party software when a connection fails.

To use NetGong, do the following:

1.Start NetInfo.

2.Right-click a network device to display the pop-up menu, and select NetGong. NetInfo sends the selected host name or IP address to NetGong, if it is installed on your system.

Note:

If you have not tried NetGong, you can download the evaluation version from our Web site.
